Message from the Headteacher

Welcome to Braunston Primary School. The school is part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) which is a multi-academy trust formed by the Peterborough Diocese Board of Education.  Each school maintains its own unique identity but we all believe that more can be achieved by working together.

‘A cord of three strands is not easily broken.’ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)

We are very proud of the successes of our school – the excellent relationships we have with families and friends within our community and with All Saints Church in the village.  Our governors, staff and children work hard to make our school a happy place where we can all learn together. We maintain our commitment to the learning of each and every person within our school family and are resolute in the commitment that sees our children being fully prepared for the next stage in their school career.

As a governing body we are not complacent about the future and are committed to continuing to raise standards and provide an effective, inspiring education for all of our children. We will continue to have high expectations and are keen to move the school forward, building on those successes.  We hope that the close cooperation and partnership between school and home will enhance and support your child’s development throughout these important years of education.

The stars of our school are, of course, the children themselves. Very few visitors fail to comment on their politeness, energy and enthusiasm! I feel very privileged and proud to lead their learning - they deserve to have the best possible opportunities for success.

We look forward to welcoming your child to Braunston CE Primary School, whether as a new family, or as someone moving from another school.  We will work hard to ensure that your child has a happy and rewarding time here.

You are welcome to visit the school and find out more about us.
